High Holidays with Rowan Chabad 2021

It has been quite the year and boy would we all love to safely share in the High Holiday experiences together. We are excited to announce that Chabad will once again be hosting all of the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur meals and traditions in a safe and fun manner.

Some of our events will be held at the Chabad House - 307 Hamilton Rd and some on Campus (please see below).

On the first and second night of Rosh Hashanah we will have delicious and home cooked brisket dinners! Complete with all the holiday traditions and energetic atmosphere.

During the first and second day we will have a full services with an express option. There will also be more opportunities to hear the Shofar and partake in the other holiday traditions. Please see the schedule below for exact details. Daytime services will be followed by a mega deli lunch.

On Yom Kippur we will be having a Pre-Fast meal followed by Kol Nidrei at night and all the day times services the following day, including Yizkor (memorial service for close relatives who have passed). After the Neilah service we will have a mega Bagel and Lox Break Fast as soon as the fast is over (7:47 PM this year 2021 - 5782)!

Our services are interactive, meaningful and uplifting. The service will be complete with full explanation, meditations, discussion and commentary. ALL are welcome and encouraged to participate. NO affiliation or background knowledge necessary.

All programs are FREE of Charge for Rowan students!

All of Chabad activities and events will be in accordance with the Universities and NJ State's Covid-19 guidelines and protocols to help keep everyone safe.

Please also keep in mind that due to the Delta Variant and the ever changing situations on the ground we may have to cancel, limit capacity, and/or change around our programming to keep everyone safe. We will keep you posted here and through our email communications (sign up here) should there be a change. Thank you for your understanding.

We hope to greet you and/or your family member and we wish You a Shana Tova - a Happy and Sweet New Year!
