High Holidays with Rowan Chabad 2023
Celebrate the High Holidays with your extended Jewish Family! Whether you are brand new to campus, have never celebrated before, or only here for one night, Chabad got you covered. And you are going to love it!!
Most of our events will be held at the Chabad House - 307 Hamilton Rd and some on Campus (please see below).
On the first and second night of Rosh Hashanah we will have delicious and home cooked brisket dinners! Complete with all the holiday traditions and energetic atmosphere.
During the first and second day we will have a full services with an express option. There will also be more opportunities to hear the Shofar and partake in the other holiday traditions. Please see the schedule below for exact details. Daytime services will be followed by a large deli lunch.
On Yom Kippur we will be having a Pre-Fast meal followed by Kol Nidrei during the night and all the day times services the following day, including Yizkor (memorial service for close relatives who have passed). After the Neilah service we will have a mega Bagel and Lox Break Fast as soon as the fast is over (7:33 PM this year 2023 - 5784)!
Our services are interactive, meaningful and uplifting. The service will be complete with full explanation, meditations, discussion and commentary. ALL are welcome and encouraged to participate. NO affiliation or background knowledge necessary.
